The role of the Medical and Scientific Committee :
The Committee Members have expressed their interest in activities and projects of the Mood Institute. They want to support and participate in its development within existing constraints and availability of each of them.
An agreement was drafted in the version 1 on June, 2nd 2008, to establish rules of operation, and a copy was sent to the Medical College for information.
This agreement specifies the following missions of the Committee Members :

Members of the Committee may make suggestions, depending on their specialty, about the informational content of the site "www.moodinstitute.com", and may express opinions, favorable or unfavorable about the synthesis of medical explanation written by the editorial team of the Mood Institute.

Members of the committee may propose to the Mood Institute information to add, or to modify or delete content if it is justified considering the state of scientific knowledge.

Members of the committee may suggest to the Mood Institute to develop new themes of publishing and may take part in the drafting of content, after signing the contract of assignment of intellectual property rights provided.

Members of the committee may be invited to participate in operations and promotional events organized by the Mood Institute, subject to obtaining their agreement.
The committee members agree to be solicited by Mood Institute to issue opinions, favorable or not, on information contained in medical and scientific content available on the website www.moodinstitute.com, with special attention on the "Mood disorders"and "Useful information" written by the editorial team of Mood Institute, which is not composed of health professionals.
Sections NEWS like "Expert opinion" are however written by physicians and reported as such to comply with the Haute Autorité de Santé and certification HON Health On Net.
Ethics
Mood Institute guarantees the freedom of expression for all committee members and respect for their point of view. The Institute undertakes to observe a strictly neutral attitude with regard to businesses, institutions and organizations represented by members of the committee.
The committee members act independently and are not associated with any Mood Institute subordination. As such, their opinions are only advisory.
