03/30/2010 - 14:42 Hello
I discovered your web site, and I found it very interesting on all levels... and I want to thank you for the help you bring to me.
I was diagnosed attenuated bipolar (cyclothymic) some time ago, and it is true that I cross real difficulties to adapt to this society, as well in a human way as in a professionally way ... I’ve lost confidence because I'm afraid of not being able to insert myself in working life and adapt the requirements of the life in a company…
I have a creative and artistic potential that I could probably never put to use in a “lambda” work or a simple feeding work...
Right now, I do not work because I'm in a depressive episode but I wish to come back to activity as soon as possible (because of financial problems) ...
Perhaps working at home could be a solution waiting to be stabilized?
I enclose my CV so that you could give me advice or orientation
I am open to your suggestions ...
Thanks in advance,
Sincerely,
M.P.
03/05/2010 - 17:56 I've just been diagnosed bipolar and I wonder about my future career. I know that I could no longer work in the same stressing environment.
I’ve just learned the existence of your Institute, it gives me hope that I could follow a different career ...
Marie Christine
03/03/2010 - 07:37 I see that the site has been redesigned... congratulations for your progress in your projects.
As I am concerned, I continue my recovery half-time therapy in a fairly positive context.
Again thank you for your support.
See you soon, Sincerely yours,
S.
03/01/2010 - 19:12 Hello, the approach seems to be unique and interests me. I live in east of France, have you some connections there? I'm looking for a job, I can not find ...
What are your rates? Do you work with doctors in my department? I was diagnosed bipolar in1986, and I am now well stabilized.
I send you my CV through your application form.
Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions
Cathy
02/25/2010 - 21:14 Hello, I was diagnosed bipolar in 2001. I have been treated and stabilized. With proper treatment and low dose but nevertheless essential, I was pregnant in December 2008 and enjoyed a fabulous pregnancy ... Unfortunately I made a post partum depression following the childbirth. So I was hospitalized for three months. The separation from my daughter has been the most painful event I've ever experienced so far.
I take lithium now and I tolerate it. I gradually rebuild myself after each hospitalization, and it is a permanent fight, but my daughter makes me stronger !
I have got a permanent contract of work and I hesitate to change my present job.
Working at home, why not? That would suit me better and I also would be able to take care of my daughter. I enclose my CV for having your opinion. Awaiting your suggestions, I wish you a good evening
Sincerely, Laurence.
02/21/2010 - 11:37 I have just discovered your site and it's nice to see your serious and your openness. I was diagnosed bipolar (lithium) 3 years ago (depressive and creating phases for over 20 years). For two years, I have not been able to find a work. I'm an autodidact (a professional aptitud certificate and a degree today) but as soon as I finish a project, someone seizes it and I am never recognized for my true value. In September I was registered in the 1st year of academic institute of training of the professors of schools because I like teaching, but I have not chosen the right way. I am forced to stop. I'm on another project for teaching, and I also return in a depression phase... I have no more confidence in me, I am not respected by persons around me ... Yet I have quite a potential, I know it, because when I work on a cultural or artistic project, even if I know nothing, I succeed.
That made me feel good to speak with somebody who see things in the same way as me. I have read many books on bipolar disorders, and my model is an American psychiatrist ... Oh, I forgot, I’ve also a lot of memory problems ...
Thank you, kindly
Catherine
